Since 1982, I have been honing my craft as a writer, photographer, producer and director in the broadcasting and cable industries of the Waco, Temple, and Killeen market.
As a Central Texas native I have earned the respect of my peers throughout the market with my creativity and attention to detail. Whether developing a concept for a client, writing a script, working in the studio, in the field on an EFP shoot or creating a finished product in the post production environment; I am comfortable with all phases of a video production.
Much of my early experience has been in the broadcast industry working at local television stations. KNCT-TV46, KXXV-25 and KWTX-TV. My expertise has been crucial in the creation of two weekly television series and numerous award-winning commercials, station promotions and public service announcements over the years.
In October of 2004, I joined Waco’s Time Warner Cable Media team as a Creative Director. I continued to develop my skills as the industry evolves. September 2013, my business partner and I began an independent video production company, Harralson Whitehead. After a long illness, my friend passed and I started Rare MEDIA Well Done in August of 2014.
I am a graduate of Central Texas College’s Telecommunications program and hold an Associates in Applied Science degree.
